KNUST Releases Admission List for Less Endowed Senior High School Applicants

KNUST has officially released the admission list for applicants from Less Endowed Senior High Schools.

This initiative is part of the University’s commitment to ensuring fair access to tertiary education for students from schools with limited resources.

What it means:

• Selected students have been offered admission.

• Heads of Less Endowed Schools are encouraged to notify their students.

• Students should complete their enrolment steps immediately.

📌 Understanding KNUST Admission Categories

KNUST processes applications based on two main categories:

1. Domestic Admissions

You belong to this category if:

You are Ghanaian, OR

You are a foreign candidate who completed secondary school in Ghana.

2. International Admissions

You fall here if:

You are a Ghanaian living abroad, OR

You are a foreign national who completed high school outside Ghana.

When Will KNUST Release Admissions?

For Domestic Applicants

KNUST releases domestic admissions some days after WAEC publishes the current year’s WASSCE results.

For the 2025/2026 academic year:

Domestic applicants should expect admissions from 10th December 2025.

Students are advised to regularly log in to their KNUST application portal for updates.

For International Applicants

There is Good news. KNUST has already started processing and releasing international admissions.
