The suspect has been arrested and is no longer a "Wanted Person".
Upon a publication made on the 19th August, 2021 on our platforms, suspect Simon Zanya Sandow, who was on the Police wanted list for the offence of murder and discharge of firearms in public has since reported himself to the Upper East Regional Police Command after he was published in the media.
The suspect was subsequently re- arrested and handed over to the Bawku Divisional Police Command and has been put before the Bawku Circuit Court for the offences of possession of firearm, discharging gun in town, causing harm and murder. His plea was not taken and was remanded into police custody to reappear on 10th September, 2021.
